The Property Institute of New Zealand has recently initiated the introduction of a Quality Assurance Programme. This measure has been introduced as a result of requests from Lending Institutions and other stakeholders who wanted some consistency in valuation report presentation and content.
To obtain QA status valuation companies must prove to independent auditors nominated by the Institute, that the company has sound business practices and processes in place and that all valuation reports produced fully comply with the New Zealand and International Valuation Standards.
Lyons & Co have recently had an independent audit undertaken, and as a result are proud to announce that we have received Quality Assurance Accreditation with the Property Institute of New Zealand.
Our Accreditation status shows our quality management system is consistent with best practice, and we are amongst one of the first companies in the greater Auckland area to obtain this Accreditation status.
